ATHENIAN YACHT CHARTER ONBOARD ARKTOS
The classic traditional schooner, ARKTOS was custom built in Greece in 2004 and refitted in 2020. Super-equipped, superbly fitted and immaculately presented, ARKTOS measures 42 metres in length and offers all the features one would expect from a luxury charter vessel.
The luxurious ARKTOS, invites a group of 10 or 11 guests to experience the joy of sailing in classical style in Greece, attended by a Greek crew of four. She has two masts supporting more than 840 square metres of sail, and these sails are used daily if her guests so desire!
The yacht's inventory of watersports and recreational gear make it possible to spend many hours on the water, enjoying active pursuits with friends and family. After a day of fun and excitement, it's easy to relax into the evening with ARKTOS's impressive leisure and entertainment facilites.
Timeless styling brings warmth to the schooner ARKTOS. Beautiful inlaid wood panels, hand-crafted furniture and sumptuous seating combine to create a very comfortable atmosphere. In the spacious deck salon, there is a plasma TV with HDMI connection and a full DVD and music library as well as comfortable seating and panoramic windows.
Accommodation is provided for between 10 and 11 guests in five ensuite cabins, all beautifully furnished and very spacious. The layout comprises one master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins, one with an additional pullman bed and one which can be converted into a double berth if required. The full-width master suite has all the makings of a honeymoon suite with the addition of a walk-in closet and a writing desk. All cabins are fitted with LCD/DVD, while four are fitted with mini-fridges.
On deck, the aft of the yacht has an enticing circular seating area in which to gather before and after meals served around the dining table. There are abundant sunbathing areas and spaces in which to just watch the world go by.. this is a beautiful yacht that will appeal to even the most discerning of charterers.

The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning materials, basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins etc.; the crew's wages, food; the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer's liability.
VAT according to the cruising area
Advanced provisioning allowance (APA): the charterer is charged extra, at cost, for the charter expenses: fuel for the yacht, RIB or other tenders; food, soft drinks, wines, beers, spirits for the charterer, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht's own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via radio or Inmarsat, as well as the hire costs of any special equipment placed on board at the request of the charterer. 25-40% APA is given to the yacht prior to the charter to allow the captain to buy fuel and provision the yacht as per the charterer's demands. At the end of the charter, the captain presents full accounts of all expenditure. The charterer is either refunded any money not used or asked to pay any additional costs not covered by the APA.
