An immersive journey through the cradle of Mediterranean history, aboard Turkey’s most refined wooden sailing yachts
Embark on a quintessential Turkish Blue Cruise that bridges the gap between the Carian and Lycian coasts. This 8-day crewed gulet charter is designed for those who seek more than just a sailing holiday. It is a journey through time. From the bustling narrow streets of Marmaris to the chic, pine-fringed marinas of Gocek, you will navigate crystal-clear waters, visit UNESCO-worthy ancient sites, and wake up in secluded bays accessible only by sea.
Day 1: Marmaris – Kadirga Harbour
Your luxury gulet adventure begins in the vibrant port of Marmaris. After a warm welcome from your captain and crew, the yacht lifts the anchor for a short sail to Kadirga Harbour. This bay is a hidden gem, unreachable by land and famed for its translucent, cool waters. Enjoy your first "dinner under the stars" as the Mediterranean sun sets behind the rugged cliffs.
Day 2: Kadirga – Ekincik Bay & Dalyan
The yacht heads northeast to Ekincik Bay, the gateway to the Dalyan River. When anchored in a secluded bay, the guests are welcome to board a traditional local riverboat to navigate the reed-lined channels of the Dalyan Delta.
Day 3: Ekincik – Aga Limani – Manastir Bay
Today the yacht sails toward Aga Limani. After breakfast, hike up to the ruins of Lydae or enjoy some windsurfing in the bay. In the afternoon, the yacht enters the Gulf of Fethiye, dropping anchor in Manastir Bay. Here, you can swim in Cleopatra’s Baths, where ancient Roman stone walls are partially submerged in the turquoise tide.
Day 4: Manastir Bay – Fethiye
After a relaxed morning of snorkeling, the yacht crosses the gulf to Fethiye. You can opt for a vibrant afternoon in the local bazaar or take an overland excursion to the breathtaking Saklikent Canyon and the mountain citadel of Tlos. The yacht spends the night at anchor in a quiet bay south of the city.
Day 5: The Lycian Trio (Xanthos, Patara & Letoon)
Today is dedicated to the heart of the Lycian League. A private guide if requested will take you to:
Day 6: Gemiler Island & Kayakoy
Today the yacht sails to the bays of Gemiler Island. Those who like hiking may choose to walk to Kaya Koy, the "Ghost Village" that inspired Birds Without Wings. As evening approaches, explore the Byzantine ruins on Gemiler Island and enjoy sunset cocktails at the summit near the 7th-century monastery of St. Nicholas.
Day 7: Tersane Island – Gocek
This day is spent "bay-hopping" through the 12 Islands. The yacht takes you to Tersane Island, once a Greek Ottoman shipyard, before cruising into the sophisticated port of Gocek. Celebrate your final night with a seafood feast in one of Gocek’s world-class waterfront restaurants.
Day 8: Gocek
Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast on the aft deck. Disembark in Gocek Harbour at around 10:00 AM, just a 30-minute transfer from Dalaman Airport (if no traffic).
N.B.: To ensure total flexibility and a personalized pace, private land excursions, entry fees to archaeological sites, and professional historical guides are not included in the standard charter fee.
